Janet Weed

On June 23, 2014, Janet Lynch Weed, 88, went home to her Lord. Preceded in death by her husband, Dave Weed Jr., and brother, Charles Kildolf. She is survived by her children, Barbara Farkas Klingensmith and husband Ritchel, FL, and James David Weed Sr., FL. She also leaves three sisters, Jean Orist, NC, Carol Palmer, MD, and Lynn Woodman, SC, grandchildren, Valaria Kilby, husband James and son Camden of MD, E. Charles Farkas III, wife Nancy, daughter Caitlin and sons Christopher and Charles, MD, Kimberly Weed of MA, and James Weed, Jr., FL, Debra Fewell, husband Murray, son Berry, and daughter Sierra, FL, and Ken Klingensmith, FL as well as numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Born in Baltimore, MD, Janet grew up in the Catonsville Presbyterian Church, Catonsville MD, graduated from Catonsville Sr. High School, and was employed by the Social Security Administration. After retiring Janet and her husband moved to Port Charlotte, FL and later to San Antonio, FL.

The family wishes to acknowledge the excellent care of the Royal Oaks Nursing Home, Dade City, FL and the Pasco-Hernando Hospice, FL.

Family will receive friends at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228 on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014, 10am, at Lorraine Park Cemetery.
