Jin built a respected working life as the head chef of New China Inn, where his dedication and skill were evident in the care he brought to his craft. He was also a proud Member of the Chinese Benevolent Association (Baltimore), reflecting his enduring connection to community and tradition.
Jin is survived by his beloved wife, Yuet Siu Lee. He is also remembered with deep affection by his daughter, Anne Lee (Edward Laboskie), and his son, Albert Lee (Ping). His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Gabriel Lee and Holly Lee, who brought him great pride and joy.
In quieter moments, Jin found genuine enjoyment in the simple pleasures that made him who he was. He loved watching basketball, especially college matchups featuring North Carolina Duke, and he followed the Baltimore Orioles with loyal enthusiasm. He also had a fondness for Burger King—particularly the hash browns and French fries and enjoyed the occasional fried chicken which became a small but memorable part of the everyday comforts he enjoyed.
