Karen now joins in eternal life Father Edward Kalb, Mother Louise Melchior Kalb, and Sister Judy Frank.
A devoted member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the Women’s club there, Karen’s faith and steady commitment to community were evident in the care she brought to those around her. She graduated with the Class of 1965 from Catonsville High School. Above all, she loved being a grandmother, known as Mom Mom to her grandchildren, and she also found deep joy in traveling—embracing time with family and the wider world with quiet gratitude and enduring warmth.
Karen is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Larry Hill; her son, Stephen Hill (Allyson); her daughter, Kimberly Lober (Ethan); and her grandchildren, Caroline Dieterle (Brian), Anna Hill, Andrew Hill, Mason Lober, Tyler Lober, and Christopher Hill.
