Kathy's love for history and adventure took her all over the world having the time of her life. On the road with her Air Force parents at 10 1/2 weeks of age, Kathy described herself as "a gypsy from beginning to end." Her greatest joy was taking treasured family and friends along with her on her travels and planning in the greatest detail the best of times and sharing the world with all. Among her most memorable travels was her trip to Ireland, Europe and Egypt, which became one of her family's happiest memories ever.
Kathy's professional career included teaching and later taking great pride as a Policy Analyst for the Social Security Administration for over 30 years. During this time she received numerous awards and citations for her passionate work on behalf of the American public.
Kathy's most enduring legacy and inspiration will be for her enormous efforts advancing medical science and knowledge, as a participant herself in new medical research and treatments, contributing to the improvement of health outcomes of others world wide.
