On February 23, 2013, Michael Kevin O’Doherty of Baltimore; Son of Patrick A. and Rose H. O'Doherty; Father of Damian C. O’Doherty and his wife Alycia and Ryan C. O’Doherty and his wife Kathy; Brother of
Patricia O’Doherty of CA, Margaret (Peg) O'Doherty of CA, Gabrielle (Gail) Weymouth of VT, Erin O’Doherty of WY and Brian O’Doherty (Dillon O'Brian) of CA; Grandfather of four. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Timothy. He was born in Baltimore on Feb 11, 1950. He attended St Joseph's Monastery School and graduated from Mt. St. Joseph High School in 1968. He studied engineering at the University of Colorado. He enjoyed writing poetry and read his own at
the Angel Tavern in Fells Point in the late 1970’s.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Saint Ignatius Church, 740 N. Calvert St. on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Creative Alternatives Program of Johns Hopkins Bayview, Development Office, 1627-A Thames St., Baltimore, MD 21231, www.hopkinsbayview.org/development. It is a program to which Michael was infinitely grateful.
