Paula F Andrus

Paula F. Andrus passed away on July 10, 2023 in Windsor Mill, MD. Paula was born in Speyer, Germany on February 27, 1939 to Eugen and Cecilia Losch. She was the oldest of 10 siblings. She is survived by Annie, Marie, Rita, Hannes, Ursula, Gisela and Karolla in Germany; and Ewald in Arizona.

Paula Married Donald E. Andrus when he was stationed in Germany. They then moved to Caton, NY., where they raised a family. Paula was a loving and devoted mother to her seven children: Karl, David,

Anna, Debbie, Donnie, Wallace and Donna. She also was a grandmother to more than 20 grandchildren.

Paula was a hard worker and helped support her family in a variety of endeavors. She cared for horses at Crook Creek Stables; owned and operated Silver Coin Restaurant; worked as a cook; and then as a nurse aid in care facilities.

Paula lived many places, including Canton and Antwerp, NY; Salem, Or., and Waynesboro, VA. In 2014,

Paula met Bruce Staudinger. In 2015, Paula moved to Maryland when she married Bruce; and joined the household with Bruce and stepson Collin.

Paula was clearly loved by her siblings, children, and husband and will be dearly missed.

A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Monday August 21, 2023 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2001 Old Frederick Rd., Catonsville, MD 21228
