Rodney Lee Waite was born December 6, 1930 in Mineola, NY. He is survived by his wife Patricia Joan Waite and three sons, Lee R. Waite (Rye, NY), Scott T. Waite (Grand Rapids, MI), and Trent R. Waite (Baltimore, MD), his daughers-in-law Leslie Alberti (Lee) and Kathy Waite (Scott) and his four grandchildren – Avery, Andrew, Ryan and Taylor. Rodney graduated from North Port High School as class president in 1949 then earned his mechanical engineering degree from NYU. He worked most of his career in aerospace engineering developing military electronics for the federal government. Upon retirement he started a home inspection business in Severna Park, MD. Rodney enjoyed golf, sailing, fishing, wood carving and home restoration with his son Trent. His most memorable experiences in retirement were traveling with Patricia in their motor home.

A Memorial Service will be held at The United Methodist Church at 731 Benfield Rd, Severna Park, MD 21146 at 1:00pm on Friday, October 28th, 2016.
