On May 1, 2023; Stella M. Melaragno (nee Monaco) passed away. She is the beloved wife of the late Albert C. Melaragno; loving mother of Dr. Al Melaragno and his wife Maureen, and Susan Thompson and her late husband Tom; devoted grandmother of Joseph Melaragno, Allison Webb, Alexis Rager, Laura Moore, and nine great grandchildren. Stella was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Katherine Post, and her siblings, Arthur J. Monaco, Jennie Mannone, Carmen Walker, Joseph Monaco, Yolanda Lombardi, Eleanor Monaco, and Anthony Monaco.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 18 from 3-5 & 7-9PM at the Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM, Friday, May 19 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5422 Old Frederick Road, Baltimore, MD 21229. Interment in Lakeview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Joseph Nursing Home, 1222 Tugwell Drive, Catonsville, MD 21228.
