On January 13, 2011; Thomas Richard Swartz; beloved husband of 59 years to Carmella D. Swartz (nee Della Valle); loving father of Thomas R. Swartz, Jr., Mary Jo Taylor, Gregory J. Swartz, Kristina M. Hooper, Kathryn A. Knauer, Suzanne D. Meara and Karen P. Swartz; cherished “Pop Pop” to Katie, Elijah, Rose, Joseph, Scott, Ted, Erica, John, Abby, Molly, Matthew, Maggie, Amanda and Samantha; dear Great Grandfather of Sebastian, Isaac, Lucy and Christopher. He is also survived by his buddy Rudy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 10AM, at St. William of York, 600 Cooks Lane. Interment will immediately follow in New Cathedral Cemetery.
