Mrs. Gregory was a registered nurse for Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri for fifteen years and retired in the Denver area.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Adolph and Lida Belle, nee Stafford, Schwaninger; and aunt Julia Mofley, nee Schwaninger.
Surviving are her husband, Gerald L. Gregory of Centennial, Colorado; sister Charlene (Robert) Stewart; of Chantilly, Virginia; children J. Russell (Kim) Gregory of Ballwin, Missouri; Kimberly (Robert) Hritz of Centennial, Colorado; Michael Gregory of Alton, Illinois; Stanley (Teresa) Gregory of Lone Tree, Colorado; Paula Gregory of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; and Nicole (Billy) Barnes of Centennial, Colorado. Also survived by grandchildren Aimie Ingalls, Kathryn Holm, Rachel Lawhon, Ashley Gregory, Seth Gregory, Haley Beckham, Sidney Womack, Riley Barnes, and Corey Barnes; and great-grandchildren Connor & Blake Ingalls, Scott Gregory, and James Lawhon.
Visitation: Wednesday May 16, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Olinger Chapel.
Funeral Service: Thursday May 17, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. immediately followed by burial at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
