

Barry James Roncone passed away on March 29, 2021 in Denver, CO at the age of 72. Barry was born in Minneapolis, MN to Jim and Dorothy Roncone. He was the oldest of four children. After graduating from high school, Barry served in the Navy on an aircraft carrier in Vietnam. Upon returning home, Barry made a career as a financial advisor, working for various financial companies throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed traveling and seeing new places. He lived in several states in the U.S. – Minnesota, California, New Jersey, Colorado, Iowa, and Virginia. He retired in Arizona where he enjoyed golfing, watching horse races, listening to oldies music, and doing crossword puzzles. Within the last few years, he returned to Colorado to be closer to his family. Barry is survived by his four children: Christiana Sparks, John Roncone, Eddie Roncone, and Sam Roncone; six grandchildren: Elizabeth Roncone, Benjamin Sparks, Luke Sparks, Emily Roncone, Joie Roncone, and Amelia Roncone and his two siblings: Steve Roncone and Renee Roncone. Before his passing, he received the exciting news that his 7th grandchild was on the way: Joshua Roncone. He is predeceased by his son Joseph Roncone and his brother Joe Roncone. The family is holding a private military service at Fort Logan on April 23rd which has been organized and set up through Olinger Chapel Hill. In the words of Frank Sinatra, Barry would proudly state “I did it my way”.
