

Beverly Colleen McShane was born in March of 1939, in Havana, Illinois to Cecil and Thelma Shores. She was the youngest of 4 children, Phyllis, Gilbert and Marilyn. The family then moved to Gary, Indiana where Beverly attended high school. Beverly and Ted’s first date was a double date with friends, Dottie and Noal. They were engaged within 6 weeks of their first date and married in April of 1959. After they were married they had 2 children, Ted and Mark. They attended Full Gospel Tabernacle in Gary, Indiana, where they helped with the youth. They moved to Butler, Wisconsin in 1969 where they continued to raise their boys and adopted their daughter Shantell. They were very involved in their church, Brookfield Assembly and spending time with family. A job opportunity for Ted brought them to Littleton, Colorado in 1978. They were active members of Denver First Assembly of God and then Grace Community Church. After a short time, Ted’s job took them to Buena Park California where they attended Calvary Assembly of God. They returned to Colorado in 1994 and then in 2002 had the opportunity to move to Jacksonville, Fl. Beverly joined the Apples of Gold ministry at Mandarin Assembly of God and enjoyed her time there. They returned to Colorado in 2009 to be close to family.
Beverly was very active in every church they attended, she taught Sunday school, was a Missionettes leader and mentored young women. She was an active member of Heart 2 Heart and helped with Hope luncheons. She spent her life investing in her family and others. Beverly had a strong work ethic balanced with love, in everything she did.
Beverly also enjoyed her time working for several different drug stores. She worked hard, and enjoyed talking with people and helping them find whatever they might need.
Beverly’s greatest joy was loving and caring for her family and friends, and she did that well! She loved to serve her family, keeping an immaculate house, a home cooked meal every night and filling her home with love. There are several family favorite recipes that she taught to her granddaughters. She loved God with all her heart and was quick to share with anyone. She was a prayer warrior, praying every day for each of her children, grand and great grand children, family and friends.
Beverly and Ted were married for 62 ½ years. Their children, Ted E and Kathy, Mark, Shantell, their grandchildren, Kale and Lisa, Adrielle and Andrew, Kayla and Bobby, Emily and Connor, Ethan, Jessica and Elvis, Auna, and great grand children, Jackson, Aven, Brooklyn and Amelia.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings and other loved family and friends.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and love her.
A service for Beverly will be held on Monday January 3, 2021 at 2pm at Family Worship Center
