Mr. Burbank was born August 5, 1929 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended schools in Edgewater and later the Denver Public Schools. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado, and was registered professional engineer.
Mr. Burbank worked in Mexico for American Smelting and Refining and then for the Marin Company in Denver. Until he retired in 1989, he was a pipeline engineer and gas system planner for Public Service Company of Colorado.
Mr. Burbank enjoyed model railroading and held several positions both the regional and local organizations. He also held the title of Master Model Railroader.
His wife, Frances, a daughter, Barbara Frederick, a son Brian and Three Grandchildren, Rachel, Jason, Andrew survive him.
