Buford James Cissell

Bill was born on November 7, 1933 in Running Lake, Arkansas to Eliott and Nora Cissell. After graduating from St. Paul Catholic School in 1952 he joined the Army. He moved to Denver, Colorado and began work at Gates Rubber Company where he retired after 32 years.

Bill loved the outdoors. He spent time hunting, camping, gardening, traveling, boating and his passions fishing and golfing. Bill and Glenda moved to Apache Junction, Arizona in 2007 where they lived until passing.

Bill is survived by four children, Teresa Cissell, David Cissell, James Cissell and Jo (David) Sailors and four step-children, Terry (Jean) Dikeman, Larry Dikeman, Karen (Marvin) Headley and Carolyn Martin.

Bill will be missed by many including 26 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. We will all miss his jokes, pranks and stories. He certainly made everyone laugh.
