Carolyn Betty Bloom, 92 years old, of Lone Tree CO. For the past 14 months she lived at Morning Star Ridgegate a senior living community where her daughter Sharon works. Carolyn passed away on Saturday Oct. 16th. She was born in Hegins township in Schuyl County Pa. on August 27, 1929 the daughter of Clarence and Clara (Yarnell) Lucas. She graduated high school in Hegins PA. Carolyn married Charles Arnold Bloom on March 1, 1952. She worked in the school system as a cook for 27 years. Carolyn enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles and word seek books. The 1st book she ever read was The Wizard of Oz. Carolyn was raised on a farm with 12 other siblings.
She is survived by son Ronald Bloom husband of Leann and daughter Sharon wife of James Garey. She has four grandchildren Trevor, Tria, Cassie and Kyle. All remaining immediate family resides in Colorado. Carolyn also has 4 remaining siblings three sisters and one brother. Sisters Elva & Phyllis along with brother Edward live in PA. Sister Gladys lives in Montana.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday Oct. 25, 2021 at 10:00 am Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO.
