Cecil was a devoted father and loving grandfather, and enjoyed golfing, spending time with his grandchildren, and visiting with his neighbors, always making sure to offer them a soda. Cecil is preceded in death by his parents Ella and James Cooksey and brother Gerald Cooksey. Cecil is survived by his former spouse Sue Cooksey, son Randy (Heidi) Cooksey, and daughters Tanya Lovegrove, Kimberly Cooksey, and Tamara (Mike) Whitehouse, as well as his beloved grandchildren Matt and Steve Cooksey, Rachel Lovegrove, Kayla (Brysson) Schweitzer, and Aaron Whitehouse.
A visitation for Cecil will be held on Wednesday December 28th from 4 to 8 pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 South Colorado Blvd. Centennial, CO 80121.
