Formerly of Chicago, IL, Connel passed away peacefully at his home on June 4, 2021 at the age of 84 in Denver, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his mother Grace, father Aaron and siblings Hensman and Gita. He is survived by his loving wife Reena, daughter Kiran (Sridhar), sister Imla, nieces Kavitha (Reuben) and Vanitha, grandson Shaan and grandniece Grace.
Connel was born in Tamil Nadu, India on May 15, 1937 and immigrated to the United States in 1968. He went on to graduate from Northern Illinois University with a master’s degree in chemical engineering. After working at several companies, he founded his own business, American Standard Circuits. After retirement he enjoyed investing in real estate and undertaking property management.

Connel was laid to rest at Olinger Chapel Hill in Centennial, Colorado on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
