Constance Lee Ellis, daughter of Ewing Edward Ellis and Ileana Mae Hitt Ellis, was born January 7, 1953 in Ottumwa, Iowa. She was the oldest child of the family and graduated from Arapahoe High School with the class of 19712. She earned an Associate Degree in fashion merchandising from Arapahoe Community College and continued her education with a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University in 1977.
After graduation, Connie was employed as a manager for the May D&F company in Littleton, CO. Then she became a dispensing optician and office manager for an optometric practice in Littleton, CO for the next 40 years, retiring in 2018.
Connie enjoyed baking cakes for the family over the years. She also liked decorating the family houses for various holidays. While in retirement, she helped her mother at home and enjoyed watching tv, following politics, and working in the yard.
Connie entered eternal rest on April 5, 2026 and was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother Edward E Ellis (Littleton, CO) and numerous uncles and cousins.
