
Darrel Lee Pearson, 75, passed away on May 21, 2013 after a long battle with lung cancer. Darrel, the son of Harold and Vandelin Pearson was born on June 22, 1937 in Red Oak, Iowa. He attended Shenandoah High School and graduated in 1955. On December 21, 1957, he was united in marriage to Delores Jean Warrick of Clarinda, Iowa. To this union, two daughters were born.
Darrel loved working in his yard, playing pool, going to antique car shows and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a great handyman with an awesome sense of humor.
Darrel was preceded in death by his father, Harold Pearson and great-grandson, Michael Lee Marano.
Darrel is survived by his wife Delores to whom he has been married for 55 years; his mother, Vandelin Pearson of Stanton, Iowa; a sister, Shirley Lawson and her husband Charles of Dallas, Texas; a brother, Jerry Pearson of Brandon, Mississippi; two daughters, Terry Larsen and her husband Randy of Denver, Colorado and Pam Pearson of Littleton, Colorado; five grandchildren, David Larsen and wife Megan of Littleton, Colorado; Melissa Sardinta and husband Dan of Denver, Colorado; Seth Pearson of Littleton, Colorado; Kristina and Branislav Panic of Littleton, Colorado; and Joslyn Bussow of Littleton, Colorado; five great-grandchildren, Dylan Larsen, Cody Larsen, Stefan Panic, Peyton Sardinta and Emma Panic; along with many other relatives and friends.
Darrel was a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and friend. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
No services, private burial.
