David Lee DeBeor 71, passed away on March 17, 2019. David was a caring and fun-loving man who never met a stranger. You could most often find him in his cowboy hat and cowboy boots wherever he went. He enjoyed watching westerns, learning about military aircraft, Jack Daniels, and exploring the city of Denver, including the Army Surplus Store and eating lunch at the Italian Restaurant next door. He has a passion for listening to live music and loved going to different venues to see bands and groups that he enjoyed. Outside of Denver he also liked to visit Boulder and Golden on occasion. His personality embraced his disability and never held him back from doing what he wanted. He felt that whatever he wanted to do, he would- and he would do it successfully. He will be dearly missed by his brothers, Joseph DeBoer and Dwayne Nelson; his nieces and nephews, James, Suzy, Ruthie, Daniel, John, Jack, Niles, Lee, Jeff and Joe DeBoer and Dawn and Marti Nelson; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Eslick Deboer and his father, Joseph Deboer (Adaline and Jean Deboer) and his brother, Albert DeBoer. Visitation for David will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 12pm until the time of service at 2pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary with a committal in Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery.
