

Don was born in Fruitland, Missouri on August 19, 1936. He attended Schoenbeck grade school and told everyone how he rode his poney to school. He attended Jackson High School where he played football and baseball. Don graduated from Southeast Missouri State with a B.S. in Business Administration.
He married Sue Rafferty and went to work for Lipton Tea CO. They moved to St. Louis, Missouri after several years. Don and Sue moved back to Cape Girardeau, MO with their three children and he worked for Morton Salt. After 8 years, a promotion moved the family to Indianapolis, Indiana and he worked for Morton until he retired 20 years ago.
Don and Sue there returned and moved to Ruidoso, New Mexico until poor health convinced him to move to Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Wind Crest.
He is survived by his wife, Sue, brother David in Jackson, MO and three children, Donna in Albuquerque, NM, Deborah in Chicago and Scott and daughter-in-law Pat in Highlands Ranch, CO.
The joy's of his life were his three grandchildren, Mary in Austin, TX, Quintin in Los Angeles, CA and Henry in Pittsburgh, PA.
