Douglas Arthur Palma passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family at his passing. Doug will be remembered as a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and friend.
Douglas was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and attended university at Georgia Tech. His engineering degree brought him out to TRW in California where he met his beloved wife. After marrying, they moved out to Colorado and had two daughters.
Doug was known for his dry and subtle sense of humor as well as making a spreadsheet for everything. Doug's favorite past times included teaching his daughters math and physics, hiking, playing pool, volunteering at the local food pantry and watching sports, especially golf, on the weekends.
Doug will be fondly remembered as a quiet and constant presence in the lives of those who knew him. He will be missed dearly and his impact on those closest to him will never be forgotten. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carolyn, two daughters, Kathryn and Samantha, and two granddaughters, Lily and Charlotte.
