With sadness and many tears, we announce the death of Ethan Raczka. We are hopeful that the promises of God are able to triumph over the darkness of death. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. (Romans 3:23-25 ESV) As a family, we hold firm Ethan had given himself to the Lord as evidenced by his personal confession to his sister. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39 ESV) Knowing that our Lord is trustworthy and able to uphold his promises, we therefore rest in the knowledge that we will be reunited with our dear beloved Ethan. We therefore praise Jesus for his atoning work and look to Him to heal our family moving forward.
Ethan was born on August fifth nineteen hundred seventy-seven at Swedish hospital in Englewood, Colorado to Edward and Janet Raczka. He is preceded in death by his mother, Janet Raczka. He is survived by: Megan and Jason Amos(sister and brother-in-law, Lindsay Raczka(sister), Ellen and Garrett
Dowdy(sister and brother-in-law), Edward Raczka(father, Brecker Raczka(son), Adelaide Raczka (daughter), Phillip and Pat Baker (uncle and aunt), Tony and Cathy Sisto (Uncle and Aunt), Edward Raczka (grandfather), Cindy Kosik (aunt), Joel Sisto (Cousin), Anthony Sisto (cousin), Lauren Zuperku (cousin), Brian Kosik (cousin), Christy Barnauskas, Johnny Kosik, and Tommy Kosik. Ethan passed away unexpectedly on November fourth two thousand sixteen.
Ethan grew up in Littleton Colorado in a loving family household. He quickly became fascinated with music and science. Ethan had a boyhood love for the science fiction and as all American boys had a specific affection for Star Trek and Star Wars. He quickly became a dashing ladies’ man with his saxophone and has brought great joy to many people with his music throughout the years.
Ethan then went to the University of Colorado in Boulder where he met Michele Morales and fell in love. He married Michele and bought a house in Denver Colorado. He then was blessed by the birth of his beloved son, Brecker and daughter Adelaide. His love for his children was apparent to all who knew him well. His children have forever been shaped by his deep love for them, his quick wit, and his artistic traits.
After Ethan was divorced, many trials began to pile up and wage a heavy toll on his heart. He was able to turn to the Lord in this trying time and did publicly pronounce his faith in his redeemer to his sister Lindsay.
Ethan died unexpectedly but his charm, great love, wit, and artistry live on in all the hearts of those whom his life touched. We now take great solace in the knowledge that he is in the arms of the great shepherd, Jesus Christ. We look forward to a great reunion with Ethan in heaven for all those who are in Christ Jesus.
We Love you so much Ethan.
We will miss you!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at nine-thirty in the morning at Harvest Bible Church, 3651 S Colorado Blvd, Englewood, CO 80113.
