She was born July 29, 1933, in Quaker City, Ohio, the oldest child of the late Jesse W. and Zella (Long) Warner. Her brother and sisters include Norma Warner, Willard Warner (deceased), and Shirley Ford.
Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1991. She is survived by her children: David, Carol Luallin, Cynthia (Cindy) Corbin, and Glenn; grandchildren: Doug Luallin, Kelly Finley, and Aimee Tomsic, Hanna and Jonathan Corbin; and great-grandchildren: Nora and Connor Luallin, Jackson and Reagan Finley.
Jo received her nursing license in 1955, and continued to inspire, guide, and amaze fellow nurses (and even a few doctors with her calm style until her retirement in 2010.
Jo will forever be remembered for her yellow Thanksgiving gravy, her wonderful fruit cobblers, poppy seed bread at Christmas, and a lifelong journey filled with wonder, kindness, dedication to her Faith, and inspiration to all.
