Gerald Ervin Sjoberg

Gerald Ervin Sjoberg formerly of Duluth, MN and recently of Littleton, CO peacefully passed away in hospice on Friday, January 28, 2022. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Ervin and Frances Sjoberg of Wilmar, MN. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 54 years, Mary Ellen (Emme) Sjoberg, sister Sharon (Jim) Muck of Cedarburg, WI, daughter Megan (Kim) Sjoberg of Nova Scotia, Canada, son Peter (Linda) Sjoberg of Centennial, CO, and his 5 grandchildren.

Jerry lived a full and warm life filled with years of service. As an insurance broker, he helped many people, first with Allstate and later with American Family Insurance which he represented for 42 years in the Twin Cities area. Jerry was an avid fisherman, hunter, and golfer finding many hours of joy in the outdoors. An amateur magician, he brought genuine smiles to those that saw him perform. Jerry was also a past member of the Masonic Order and the Zuhrah Shrine. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift can be made in his honor to Dakota Dachshund Rescue (7505 Mystic Drive, Sioux Falls, SD 57110). His two favorite loves upon retirement, Magnolia and Marigold, came to him from there and provided much affection and comfort.

A celebration of Jerry’s life will take place on May 27th, 2022 at 2:00pm and Olinger Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121
