Gertrude Marie Evans-Adams-Cody passed away April 13, 2012. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 South Colorado Boulevard, with burial to follow.
Gertrude was a volunteer for 20+ years with the American Red Cross, she was also the recipient of the 9 Who Cares Award.
Gertrude is preceded in death by her sons, Bill Adams, and Robert Lee Adams, as well as her husband Ed L. Cody. Survivors include her grandson Robert J.V.L. Adams, 3 great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Benton Adams, Adrianna Marie Adams, and Zachary Lee Adams, daughter-in-law Terrie Adams, grandsons Greg Cody, and Donald Cody, as well as 3 great grandchildren.
