

Harold Austin Remon Jr., beloved husband, dad, grandfather, brother, veteran, and friend, passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on April 25, 1946, in Denver, Colorado, Harold lived a life defined by service, laughter, curiosity, and deep connections with others.
Harold proudly served his country during the Vietnam War, making him a decorated U.S. Navy war veteran. His time in the Navy shaped his strong sense of duty, loyalty, and resilience, values that remained with him throughout his life. Following his military service, Harold built a long and dedicated career with Purina, where his work ethic and leadership were well known and respected.
To those who knew him, Harold was unforgettable. His infectious laugh could light up any room, and he had a rare gift for making everyone feel welcome. He was genuinely a friend to all, whether you had known him for decades or had just met him. Conversations with Harold were often filled with humor, stories, wisdom, and a sincere interest in others.
Outside of work, Harold embraced his passions with enthusiasm. He loved restoring muscle cars, taking pride in bringing classic machines back to life. He was a devoted Star Wars fan, finding joy in everything from the films to collectibles. Fishing offered him peace and reflection, while his love of memorabilia reflected a lifelong appreciation for history, stories, and nostalgia.
Harold is survived by his kids Alex & Lizzie Johnson; his cherished grandchildren, Xander and Gracie, who brought him immense pride and joy; and his siblings from the Woodward family: sister Jeannette and brother Russell. He is also survived by his Remon siblings: Joanna Keys, John Remon, Kathey Burke, Tom Remon, Rose Gaudet, Marybeth Wallace, and Ruthanne Lizotte.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jodean; his parents, Harold Remon Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Classen and stepdad Denzil Woodward; his grandparents; and his brothers, Fred and Richard.
Harold’s legacy lives on in the echo of his laughter, the knowledge he shared, the friendships he built, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
Harold’s Memorial Service will be held at Our Father Lutheran Church, 6335 S Holly St, Centennial, CO 80121 on January 6th , 2026 at 1 pm, a reception will follow.
