Dear Aunt Ruby, Nancy and Cheryl;   I am so sorry for your loss as well as for the family's loss. I have been thinking of the many times the Sharpley brother's their wives and children gathered together as young families either picnicking or just visiting at one house or the another. We also had many holiday gatherings at Grandma Shapley's which were probably much more fun for the adults then the children :-)  But that being said they still fill my heart with fond memories. There were so many lovely times and interesting conversations we all shared. For so many years Uncle Curley has remained the last of the Sharpley Brother's Dynasty and I always took such great comfort in that and now we have lost him too and will miss him terribly. In many ways you are now the matriarch of the clan. I have missed seeing  you over the many years since I moved away from Denver. Cathy, Mary and I had just returned from a funeral in Omaha, NE as Alice had just lost a daughter in law very unexpectedly. I was still at the LAX airport when I heard about Uncle Curley and my heart sank. I wanted to be a part of Uncle Curley's farewell and stand with you Nancy and Cheryl and would have other then I have been ill. I am sending much love to you and all of your family.  Vera Jo

Dear Aunt Ruby, I am so sorry for your loss. I have been thinking and remembering the times of old when the Sharpley brothers their wives and children would gather. There were some fun lovely times. Uncle Curly in my mind was the last of the Sharpley Brother's Dynasty and just knowing we still had him brought me comfort. I wish I could have been in Denver with you for his funeral. Cathy & Mary may have told you we just returned from a funeral in Omaha on the day we lost Uncle Curly and I returned to CA quite ill. But for that I would have been there to be by your side.
