Jack married the love of his life, Janet Brown, on February 11, 1977 in Golden, Colorado. Throughout his lifetime, he lived in both Colorado and Montana, eventually returning Colorado. When it came to a career, Jack was known as a “Jack of all Trades”, and his pristine work. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Jack began his career as a tile contractor, which he received many recognitions from both builders and homeowners.
Those closest to Jack could tell you that he was a loving, selfless man who was always full of smiles, kindness, and compassion who enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed fixing things, just about anything, and teaching children and would teach the world what he knew if he had the chance. He was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and sport shooting. Jack meant the world to everyone and will forever be in our hearts.
The family would like to extend a big thank you to the hospital nurse, Joan, who was by Jack’s side in his final days. The family would also like to thank the following individuals for being such a supportive and wonderful presence in Jack’s life over the years, and he cherished his time spent with each and every one of you, Patrick Grannan, Bob Baker, Susie and Loren Oswalt and children, The Reeves Family, The Dehart Family, and Jalva Eakins.
