

She was born January 26, 1953 in Canton, Illinois, the daughter of James Eugene and Mary Lee “Peggy” (Zink) Quick.
She was preceded in death by her mother, one twin brother, Thomas E. Quick; one grandson, Miration Coulter; two nephews, John Quick and R. Joseph Quick Jr.; and her ex-husband and father of her children, Mark C. Coulter.
She is survived by her father and step-mother, two brothers, James "Mike" (Nancy) Quick of Ellisville, IL and Robert "Joe" Quick of Burlington, IA; three children, Christy (Eric) Welch of North Fort Myers, FL; Cari (Michael) Hinton of Castle Rock, CO; Craig Coulter of Federal Heights, CO; five grandchildren, Pierce (Ali) Welch of Banner, IL; Jayda (Luke) Martin of Castle Rock, CO, Marque Welch of Lehigh Acres, FL; Keanan Hinton of Castle Rock, CO and Trey Hinton of Castle Rock, CO; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Jeannie graduated from Cuba High School and first worked for Kroger, Mid-Century Telephone, and Peterson Healthcare before attending Western Illinois University from 1986 through 1990, during which time she worked at Maytag Corp in Galesburg, IL. Jeannie graduated with an education degree and taught business courses at Manual and Richwoods High Schools in Peoria, IL, and also at Illinois Central College. She retired in 2012 and relocated to Castle Rock, CO, where she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, fishing, quilt-making, and teaching her grandkids to make homemade noodles.
A graveside service will be held at Wiley Cemetery in Ellisville, IL, at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded through Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
