

John Chiang, known for his dedication to serving in the Chinese Air force as a pilot and his accomplished career after immigrating to the United States following the end of WWII, passed away at the age of 101 on June 6, 2024, in Littleton, Colorado.
Born in Suzhou, China, John's life was marked by a deep passion for the arts, from performing in Chinese Operas to playing the Erhu with skill and grace. He also found joy in Calligraphy, Mah Jongg, and photography, showcasing his creativity and cultural appreciation.
In addition to his military service and artistic pursuits, John was a loving father survived by his children: Jack Chiang, Linda Hartman, Vivian Chiang-Zeizel, Raymond Chiang, and Kenneth Chiang. He is also remembered fondly by his 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edna Yuen Chiang who he was married to for 68 years.
