

Jack is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Joyce; his daughters Terri (John) Armstrong and Mary Elizabeth (Bill) Stenzel; his son-in-law Gary Hubbard, nine grandchildren; six great‑grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Bessey Conklin; his daughter, Tammy (Gary) Hubbard; grandsons, Charles Colvin and Garrett Hubbard; his brother, Barry; and his sister, Judith.
Jack lived a long and full life defined by kindness, dedication, and an unmistakable sense of humor. His quick wit and warm personality endeared him to all who knew him. He had a lifelong passion for flying, painting, listening classical music, tractors, and playing slot machines—interests he pursued with joy and curiosity.
A skilled woodworker and avid landscaper, Jack built gazebos and ponds in every home he owned, creating peaceful spaces for family and friends to gather. His hands shaped not only wood and gardens, but also lasting memories for those he loved.
Above all, Jack treasured time spent with the people he loved. He was known for sharing stories and jokes that brought laughter and comfort, leaving a legacy of joy that will be deeply missed.
Jack’s memory lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
