Joe passed away on Saturday afternoon, November 14, 2015 at San Juan Living Center. Joseph Richard Lorimor was born on July 13, 1922 in Agate, Colorado to parents, Ralph and Annie(Ward) Lorimor. He graduated from North High School and served honorably in the Merchant Marines during World War II. In 1941 he married Katherine "Kay" Honeker who receded him in death. They were blessed with three children, Shirley, Dick and Ron. Joe was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was a master mechanic and worked for both the Denver and Jefferson County Schools. He loved hunting, dancing, playing cards and family outings. Survivors include his children Shirley Cunningham on Montrose, CO, Dick Lorimor of Evergreen, CO and Ron Lorimor of Chandler, AZ along with two grandchildren, three great grandsons and one great-great-grandson. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO at 10:00. Interment will follow the service.
