Judith Louise "Judy" Jacobs died January 2, 2015 from heart failure. Judy was born Judith Louise Black April 11, 1930 to Oz and Alona Black in Lincoln Nebraska. She moved with her family to Minneapolis Minnesota in 1940, later graduating from University High School and attending Macalester College and the University of Minnesota. She worked in Christian education, early childhood education and music sales. She moved to Denver Colorado in 1957 and was married in 1962 to Wayne Jacobs who had two children - Sandra and Dale. Judy and Wayne also had a son - Kevin. She enjoyed travel, music, painting, her church and promoting the advancement of women through 50 years of membership in P.E.O. Judy is preceded in death by her husband Wayne, sister Virginia Black and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, two sons, daughters in law, many nieces and nephews, and granddaughters Molly, Sophie and Hannah - all living in the Denver area.
