DeWayne died of pancreatic cancer in 2009. Wayne and Laura were married for 68 years. Mr. “A” as she affectionately called Wayne died in October 2014. Laura is survived by her sister, Ima Jean Markowitz, her daughter Lavon Allmon Lilja, husband Paul Lilja, grandchildren: Deanne Lilja Thebert, husband Tim Thebert, great grandchildren William Thebert, Keri and Jason Brinton, Scott Lilja, wife Kathy Lilja, great grandchildren William and Laura Lilja, Eric Allmon, wife Jen, great grandchildren Bethany and Joshua Allmon, Doctors Chris and Yun Sun Allmon, Dave and Michelle Allmon, Nephew JR Mallory and wife Lynda.
Her family and Lavon will miss her deeply.
