Lawrence Vernon Riley, age 101, of Denver, Colorado passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018. Lawrence was born August 23, 1916. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Elnora (Anderson); parents, Lydia (Profitt) and William Vernon Riley; 5 sisters; and his daughter-in-law, Sherrie (Leprowse) Riley. Lawrence is survived by his son, Danny Riley of Florissant, Colorado; grandson, Todd (Kristen) Riley of Florissant, Colorado; granddaughter, Kelly Riley Praiswater of Canon City, Colorado; great-grandchildren, Cody Riley, Sydni Riley, Savannah Riley, Cassie Riley, Alexandra Riley, and Izzy Riley; great-great-grandson, Aiden Riley and other loving family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121 followed by a Committal Service in the cemetery. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held at 3:00 pm back at the funeral home.
