Lia married Jose Farias on November 7, 1960 in Colorado, he preceded her in death on October 28, 2012. Survivors include her sons, Alfred (Jessica) Farias of Englewood, CO and Richard (Gina) Farias of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Carol Cornish of Aurora, CO; 10 grandchildren, Alexaundria Farias, Isaac Farias, Racquel Farias, Ashlie Farias, Justice Cornish, Jewels Cornish, Torey Cornish, Desirae (Levan) Chitishvili, and Starr Cornish; 5 great grandchildren, Gabriella Rodriguez, Lilliana Farias, Michael Calbert, Miles Everett and Reign Everett; 7 siblings, Billa (Charles) Gomez of Denver, CO, Irene(Sam) Madrid of Denver, CO, Raul (Stella) Torres of Greeley, CO, Able Torres of Commerce City, CO, Noehmi (Steve)Salazar of Aurora, CO, Debbie (Bob) Pierce of Lonetree, CO and Mary (Jerry) Griego of Greeley, CO.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary. Visitation will be held two hours prior, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery.
