Lindsay (Linda) Jean Egelston Wilks,
Linda was born in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1947, the oldest child of Allan Lindsay Egelston and Irene Genevieve Albee Egelston. Her siblings included sisters Brenda and Kathy and brother Bruce. The family moved to Englewood, Colorado, in 1959. She met and married Kenneth L. Wilks in March 1966. They had two children, Sheleigh and Kevin.
Linda worked for the City of Englewood for 34 years, retiring from there in September 2011.
Linda enjoyed cross-country skiing (back in the "old days"), movies, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children Sheleigh (David) and Kevin (Kathy); grandchildren Patrick, Brandon, and Kaitlyn; sisters Brenda (Mo) and Kathy, and brother Bruce (Kerry); sister-in-law Lynne (John); several nieces and nephews; and a great-niece.
She handled her illness as she handled everything--with class and dignity, right up to the end. She was loved very much and will be missed very much.
