Liz was born December 7th, 1956 in Nanticoke, PA to Alberta (Bush) and Edward Krupinski. She graduated from John S. Fine High School in Nanticoke, PA, and then attended Luzerne County Community College where she played softball leading the team as one of the star pitchers. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at Slippery Rock State College, later earning her Master’s Degree while teaching in Houston.
After graduating Liz accepted a teaching position in Houston, TX. This is where she was introduced to scuba diving, which would become one of her many passions along with running marathons. In 1986 she accepted a job with the Department of Defense and transferred to Heidelberg, Germany where she taught Physical Education in elementary and middle school.
She was an avid traveler, biker, camper, runner and skier. It was in St. Moritz, Switzerland where she met her future husband Tim in 1987. They enjoyed Europe together and relocated to Colorado Springs, CO in 1991.
Budvar, her first Weimaraner, entered her life and this would soon become one of her greatest loves. In 1992 they moved to Castle Rock, CO where Liz became involved with the Mile High Weimaraner Club in Denver. Training and showing dogs in the ring is where Schnapps became her first show dog Champion. As her passion grew she began training and showing different breeds making a name for herself in the dog community. Her talents soon broadened to training her dogs for hunting titles. Her greatest accomplishment in life was breeding Stoli, who became the only Weimaraner in recorded history to earn a Best in Show and Master Hunter Title.
In her spare time she was still able to continue her worldly travels to such places as New Zealand, Egypt, Israel, Fiji, Grand Cayman, Bonaire and Mexico for diving and sightseeing.
Liz was a very caring wife, sister and beloved friend to all. Because of her kindness, gentle ways, willingness to lend a helping hand and teach others she was greatly respected and appreciated.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Walter.
