Lucas Alan Ching

Lucas was born on August 26, 1978 to Larry and Lin Ching (deceased) in Englewood, CO. He is survived by brothers Lyle and Larry III (Sunny), sister-in-law Shyanne, 4 nieces (Kaitlin, Kimiko, Brittany and Taylor), one nephew (Larry IV) and 2 grand nephews (Oliver and Elliot). He graduated from Heritage High School. While in school he loved being a part of the arts including marching band, color guard and choir.

Lucas had a passion for coloring and styling hair which came from his artistic side.

After cosmetology school, he worked at several salons prior to acquiring his own salon, the Lighthouse Salon. He participated in and hosted many hair shows and mentored new stylists. Lucas always put his all into any activity that brought him joy, including winning first place in the Mr Colorado Mile High Fitness competition in 2009. Anyone who knew Lucas, knows that he was incredibly kind hearted and fun-loving. He had an immense passion for his work and was always a source of positivity. He loved his music, dancing, photography, travel and enjoyed living life to the fullest. Lucas' family and friends will miss him more than words can say.
