We only knew Madelyn through her twin daughters, mostly Karen.  The Christian heritage you and your husband instilled in both of them runs deep, and has touched the lives of many.  It is very comforting to know you are now safe in the arms of Jesus and reunited with your beloved husband.  We pray that your family is comforted and at peace with that which only the Lord can provide since your home-going.  Blessings to all your family.

Today was one of the hardest days I have had to experience in a while, but I take comfort in knowing you aren't in pain anymore. I always looked forward to every day I got spend with you and I will cherish the last time I was able to see you. You were such a big part of all our lives and you were the glue that held us all together- you were truly so special. I can't wait until I see you again. Give Papa hugs and kisses. I love you and miss you every second.

To say that I miss you is an understatement. I am struggling with the fact that I wasn't there to say goodbye to you, and for that I am so sorry. But as time goes on I'm finding comfort in knowing you are with me all the time now. I know you are no longer hurting or in pain, and I know you are with Papa again. I will miss the family holidays at your house, Christmas and Thanksgiving won't be the same. I'm cherishing the many memories I have with you. Oh Mama the times we have shared! Over the years we have cried together and laughed together. We had our agreements and disagreements. Through the years we built a bond that could not be broken. You inspired me in faith. And I loved when we had bible study. You taught me so much. I am so blessed to have been a apart of your life and will cherish every moment we experienced together. I have such wonderful memories of visiting you, Ike and the kids when our family came to Colorado. You were both such gracious hosts and made sure our vacation was filled with activities and family time. I'm sure you and Ike and Mom and Dad are catching up and sharing stories once again.
