Margie was born on a farm outside of Granelle, Kansas, in September, 1926, to Henry and Suzie Kruse. She had three older siblings; Jerry, Eloise, and Glenivere (Glenny), and four years later the twins, Verna and Vera, completed the family.
The Kruses suffered through the famous Dust Bowl of the Eastern Plains and were forced to move to Kansas for a short time. They returned to Colorado a few years later, and Margie spent the rest of her life in the Colorful Colorado that she loved. After graduation from South High School in Denver, World War II took her to San Francisco, where she lived with Glenny and corrected the secret code books used by vessels at sea.
After the war, she married the love of her life, Page ("Casey") Osburn, whom she'd met in Denver and who had trained as a Navy pilot.
After living short term in Cincinnati, Ohio and Augusta, Georgia, where Casey was sent to "clean up" some mismanaged offices, they decided to return to Colorado.
Casey started his General Contracting profession by working for Margie's dad's construction company. They built their home in Littleton, where they lived for over 60 years together. There, they welcomed their only child, Melanie, and the three lived a blessed and happy life together, enjoying backyard barbecues, camping, and Margie's fun-loving celebrations of every season.
Margie was preceded in death by both parents and siblings Jerry, Eloise, Glenny, and Vera, and is survived by her sister, Verna and daughter, Melanie.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Olinger's Chapel Hill at 10:00 on Monday, August, 18 at 10 am.
Interment will follow at Fort Logan Cemetery, the same day at 2:00.
