Although his family and friends can find comfort in the end of his suffering, he is leaving behind his two daughters, Victoria (age 14) and Mallory (age 10) who grieve the loss of his sarcasm and humor, as well as his love for coaching their soccer teams.
We saw Mark’s sparkle and spirit most when he talked about sports. If he wasn’t bragging about his daughters’ soccer skills, he was talking about golf, baseball or football. His support of his beloved Oakland A’s never waivered, even when they continued to trade away their stars just when they were getting good. He could talk for hours about the Dallas Cowboys, and even named one of his cocker spaniels “Emmitt” for his love of all that Emmitt Smith did for his favorite team. His true sports love was golf. He shot 2 over par the first round he ever played in college, and he immediately knew that’s what he was meant to do. His pitching and catching career was officially over, and his pursuit of golf began.
In his professional life, Mark found a home in the transportation industry with his favorite job being School Bus sales. He loved knowing he was selling the safest and best school bus on the market, and enjoyed his work with the school districts. If you ever wanted to know something about a school bus, you just had to ask him. He could tell you everything from seatbelt laws, to seat frames, to how the buses were disassembled to get them to Alaska for delivery.
While his family grieves the loss of Mark so young, we find comfort knowing he was baptized and clung close to God in the end.
We imagine the embrace when he entered those heavenly gates with his dad, James Tedesco, his Aunt Mary, and his infant son, Benjamin.
Mark is also survived by his mother, Patricia Tedesco, his sister Kathryn Moreci (Jason), and extended family who recall so many fun times growing up with Mark in northern California.
A memorial service for Mark will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at1:30 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.olingerchapelhill.com for the Tedesco family.
