A native Coloradoan, Mary Alice’s life was filled with adventure, love, and an unshakable devotion to her children. Though she called Colorado home and dearly loved her mountains, she also lived in Germany, Alaska, and Texas. Her stories of Munich at Christmas and the northern lights in Alaska were cherished memories she loved to share.
A free spirit in her younger years, she enjoyed traveling and fondly remembered a trip to Hawaii — always hoping to return. She had a deep love for dancing, Elvis, chocolate, and ice cream, but above all, she loved her children unconditionally.
As a single mother to one son and two daughters, she exemplified strength, resilience, and compassion. She raised her family with warmth and faith, becoming a second mom to many of her children’s friends and leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Through life’s trials, she remained grounded in her faith and never wavered in her belief in Jesus. Her unwavering strength and loving heart will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
She was survived by her children- Daughter Chris (husband John), Son Steve (wife Heather) and Daughter Angie (Husband Nate) as well as her grandchildren Dain , Brandi, Lexi, Gavin, Xavier and Alexander; her great grandchildren Ava, Elle, and Ryder, as well as her Sister Judy.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Brandi, and her brothers Bill, Don, and Tom
Mary was thankful for the friends and family that visited and cared for her in her final days. Especially her daughter Chris and granddaughter Brandi who kept her comfortable and lovingly cared for her until the very end.
A funeral service for Mary will be held Friday, August 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121.
