

Nancy, age 55, of Parker, Colorado, passed away on July 6, 2017 at the Denver Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Terry Leis, and devoted mother of Sean Skoda, Cody Leis, and Austin Leis.
Nancy was born in Peoria, Illinois on August 20, 1961 and grew up in the Chicago area. She was the daughter of Joan and the late Richard Heywood. Besides her husband and sons, Nancy was the sister of Mark Heywood, Karen (Ron) Still, and Tricia (Marty) Breed. She also leaves behind many cherished extended family members and friends.
She was high energy, fun loving, and made many friends. She worked at ANB Bank where she was a valued friend and coworker. She enjoyed traveling to Vegas, Hilton Head Island, Maui, and other fun spots. She loved to cheer on the Denver Broncos and sports in general. Of course, she was the biggest fan of her sons, encouraging them at every turn. One of her favorite phrases was “don’t sweat the small stuff”, a testament to her focus on her love of family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 17th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Loreto, 18000 E. Arapahoe Road in Foxfield, CO 80016. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.
