I give you this one thought to keep - 
I am with you still - I do not sleep.

This is for you Pam...

One can not begin to capture in words how you have touched each of our lives.  Your ability to reach in to our hearts and leave a wee bit of love will last forever in our souls.  Our lives have changed because of your presence, and you have made each one of us better people in the end.  You have always set high goals for yourself Pam.  Even in times of incredible sickness that would have devastated most people, you actually undertook new and challenging projects in your life.  You have been such an inspriation to us.  I hope we will be strong enough to follow in your footsteps and actually make a difference to others as you have.  You have taught us how to be full of hope and to live life to its fullest.  You only find people like yourself once in a lifetime Pam.  And we have been lucky to know you and be with you even if it was, just for a moment in time.

Your time with us is over now Sky Dancer.  The light here has dimmed.  But your journey, is just beginning.  God has called to you to do even greater things for him.  What they are, we can only imagine.  But we know he needed you for something very special and wonderful.  Your wings are real now.  You are dancing with the Angels.  Jumping from star to star, and every one that you touch will shine that much brighter over us.  We know you will still be here with us in some way though.  Watching us and guiding our lives ever so slightly in you own little way, so that we can fulfill our hopes and wishes.  You will always be in our hearts Sky Dancer.  Your love for life and for your family and friends will be felt forever.  And our love for you will continue to warm our hearts every day.  You tought us to believe in miracles.  What we realize now, is that you were our miracle.  Please wait for us Sky Dancer.  Until then, we will see you in our dreams.

Pam’s new journey reminded me of a poem by an unknown author called,  

God's Garden

God looked around his garden and found an empty place
He then looked down upon the Earth and saw your tired face
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest
With the help of his angels they flew you to your heavenly place

Gods garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best
He knew you were suffering, he knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never get well on Earth again

He saw the road was getting rough and the hills too hard to climb
He closed your weary eyelids and whispered "Peace be Thine"
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home

To everyone, Pam was like a flower that God has blessed our lives with, helping each of us along our way.  She gave us a reason to smile, to laugh and left a huge impression on our hearts.  So as we look at our own gardens in life, we’ll always remember Pam… because “God has taken petals from all the flowers in his garden, threw them into the sky and with a breath of life, that’s how butterflies were born.”

Bev -We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts are with you at this time of sorrow.

What I am thinking right now is hard to put into words.  Let me start with a little history David and I met Pam and Kevin in WI at a bike rally.  She and I were among the few girls riding Harley's.  Over the last few years as we began to know them our friendship deepened.  We will miss our friend Pam and convey our sympathy to you her family.

Pam was always so positive even at  the worst part of hospitalization. She always had that magnetic smile and gracious attitude. I've had the pleasure to be Pam's nurse at Rush. It was so nice to see such strong family support. I am very saddened by her passing. I will always remember her strenght and beautiful smile.My thoughts and prayers are with you....Monina, Rush RN

To all of the Tekavec family, my thoughts and prayers are with you as well as my heart.  Pam touched my life in a profound way and her laughter and her smile are with me always.

Words are just too hard to find. I grew up in the Tekavec household, probably almost as much as my own home at times. I haven't seen Pam in so many years, but her laughter at the silly things that Val and I would do still warms my heart.  At times she was My big sister and I loved her.

Dear Bev and family,
Time with family and friends is so precious and we so often take it for granted. It was just a year ago that you told me about Pam, and I admired the strength you showed and the love and care you provided to her during this fight. I remember Pam was always nice and friendly to me as a lowly freshman at East, always offering a cheerful smile and hello.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of sadness, yet celebration of a wonderful person's life. May you find comfort in the memories. God Bless.

After my mother died, I saw in my dear Grandmother Mamoo's face,everyday,the heartfelt pain of losing a daughter... rely on faith, love, friendship and the closeness of your beautiful family. Randy, Mark, Bev, Val, Margo and extended family members,

I'm sorry for your loss but grateful that Pam is not suffering any longer.  
In looking at her photos I see that she was a beautiful person on the outside and the photos reflect her personality which was obviously beautiful as well.
Throughout her battle Margot kept me informed and I prayed from Pam...I just with the outcome would have been different.
May God comfort you in your sorrow now and in the future firsts that you will be missing your beloved sister.

It's hard for me to put into words how I feel about all this. Pam became such a wonderful friend and an inspiration to me in a very short time span. 

She was a fighter. I always wondered how someone faced with such a situation could keep her head so high and her spirits so positive…I think it’s called “Character”.  And that she had! 

We shared a love for motorcycles and looked forward to riding together. I’m sad that will not happen now. But in all of this, I am happy for one thing. That I got to know her. And I will never forget her. 

My thoughts and prayers go out to all that knew her and will miss her. I know I will miss her greatly and there is a huge hole in my heart now….

I am very sorry to hear about Pam.  Unfortunately, I have not seen or talked to Pam in a long time.  I am her second cousin from Minnesota.  My mom, Evelyn Wright (Pueblo) and her sister, Elsie Grabyan (California) also send their condolences to Corrine and all of Pam's family.  We hope you find solace in all the great memories you have of her.  All the pictures remind me of all my childhood memories growing up with my Tekavec cousins.  I wish I could be there in person to help celebrate Pam's life.

We met Pam and Kevin at the annual motorcycle rally in La Crosse, Wisconsin. What a shock to learn of her passing! We will miss seeing her smile and hearing her laugh. Pam really enjoyed riding her bike. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

Corrine and cousins:  We are so saddended to hear about Pam's passing. I have fond memories of Pam, especially her great smile and vibrant personality.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

We met Pam while she was putting together two bathrooms at her house in Hoffman Estates.  Our staff here at bathhaus so enjoyed working with Pam as she chose items for her bathrooms.  She was so excited about her project and how it was turning out.  She had exquisite tastes and was so willing to do the work to get what she wanted.  Her lovely spirit brought joy and smiles to all of our faces.  We loved to see her eyes light up when we got her talking about her   Harley.  What a sight!  Petite Pam and her huge motorcycle.  We feel very lucky to have had Pam walk into our store.  We extend our deepest sympathies to her mother and the rest of her family and friends.  We also want to make special mention of her friend Steve who was the contractor on the bathroom.  What a gem of a man he is.

Terri and I met Pam and Kevin about 5 years ago at the Boss Hoss River Rally in LaCrosse, Wi. We all immediatley connected. We looked forward every year to seeing her and Kevin. It was a huge shock when we heard the news this week. We knew that she had been battleing the disease but didn't know it had progressed to that degree. I can not express how saddened I was upon learning about Pam’s passing. I was lucky to have opportunities to work with Pam few years back. What can I say about Pam? She was a wonderful person admired by colleagues, employees and superiors for her talent, hard work and friendliness. Pam, you will be always in our hearts. Our lives were touched by Pam's courageous fight and by her ever-present smile. We enjoyed many years riding with her in LaCrosse, WI. She sure loved riding her Harley! She will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with her family and friends.

I had the pleasure of working side by side with Peemers for nearly two years.  Her smile and laugh made our busy days pass in a flash.  She was the most wonderful person I ever worked with and her laugh always lit up the room.  She has a special place in my heart.

I was able to reconnect with Pam on facebook.  What a beautiful spirit this lady had & I loved her positive attitude that she continually showed.   My thoughts & prayers are with all of the family in this very difficult time.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Pam’s death. I knew Pam to be a hard worker and an honest colleague. Although I admired her talent in business and IT, her kindness with everyone was what truly impressed me.  She always had a welcome, constructive word of advice. Pam and I got to re-connect over the past several months through email and texting.  She had said that it would be alright if I visited her when she got to Colorado.  I am so saddened by her passing, but very grateful for all the fond memories.  She was a very unique and special person.
