Patrick attended High School in Fayetteville, Arkansas before graduating from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Continuing his education, he later obtained a master’s degree in Computer Programming from Colorado Christian University. Patrick worked for Lockheed Martin for 25 years, where he worked on special programs, most recently the Orion Space program. A longtime resident of Colorado, Patrick was heavily involved in the Arapahoe Youth League and served as Director of the program for many years. Patrick was both caring and non-judgmental. A man of integrity, he deeply loved his family, claimed his step-children as his own and treated them as such.
Those left to cherish Patrick’s memory are his wife, Debra Falkner; children, Matthew, Ryan, and Nathan Falkner; his step-children, Daniel and Dara Ector; siblings, Michael Falkner, Richard Falkner, Peggy Hogan, and Sara McCormick. He is preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Falkner and his parents, Norma and Robert Falkner.
A Memorial Service will be held in Patrick’s honor on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 S Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121. Family will receive guests at a Celebration of Life Reception at the funeral home, immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Liver Foundation.
