Rena Anne Riffel, age 87, of Denver, Colorado passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Rena was born February 28, 1931. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Harlan Dean Riffel; parents, Rena (Bourdelain) and James M. Dunbar; sister, June Dunham; and two brothers, Huey Dunbar and Jim Dunbar. Rena is survived by her sons, Thomas M. (Dree) Riffel of Highlands Ranch, CO and Daniel G. Riffel of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Jacob T. Riffel and Megan M. Riffel, both of Highlands Ranch, CO; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 9:00 am, Saturday, September 8, 2018 at First Plymouth Congregational Church, 3501 S Colorado Blvd, Cherry Hills Village, CO 80013 followed immediately by a reception at the church. Interment will take place at Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery prior to the Memorial Service.
