

Richard I Santos, 60 passed away on Monday May 22, 2017. Rick was the beloved husband of Bonnie Santos and father of Rindi Jo Hauck Denver, Colorado. Rick was the son of Alex Santos (deceased) and Berlinda “Berly” Santos of Denver, Colorado, twin brother to James Santos Denver, Colorado, and brother to Anthony “Tony” Santos of Denver, Colorado. He leaves behind sister-in-law Lisa Santos, nephews and nieces David and Brianna Santos of Denver, Colorado, Alex, Jack, and Kate Bella Santos of Denver, Colorado. Richard’s other surviving family include Aunt Christine Perea and Sally Bustam of Denver, Colorado and numerous cousins and friends. Rick was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and nephew.
He will be remembered for his willingness to help his family whenever they called. Rick was employed by the Federal Government and retired after more than 30 years of service. He was loved by many for his kind and generous manner. Rick graduated from Kennedy High School and later Metro State College with a BS in History and especially loved history regarding war strategies. The last couple of years Rick was interested in the stories about “Big Foot” and wanted to experience a Big Foot expedition. Rick had a love for old movies and could always answer any trivia question put before him. He was known to have the answer to the most obscure history questions that no one else could answer. He will be greatly missed by his family.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, May 30, 2017, with a Rosary being held at 7:00 pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary. A Celebration of Rick’s Life will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the funeral home.
