R.J. Borkowski

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond Joseph Borkowski, affectionately known as R.J., at age 42. R.J. was a fiercely loyal, deeply caring man who lived life with passion, humor, and unwavering love for those close to him. He fought courageously until the very end, embodying the strength and resilience that defined his character. R.J. passed away surrounded by family and friends.

He is survived by his soulmate and wife, Nicole Borkowski, and their beloved four-legged boys, Mufasa and Titan, who brought him endless joy and companionship. R.J. also leaves behind his devoted parents, June and Walter Borkowski; his sister, Angela Bain, and her husband, Matthew; his brother, Kyle Borkowski, and his partner, Stephanie; his cherished nephew, Grant Bain, and niece, Remi Buxton; his parents-in-law, Marshall Baker and Lynn Baker; his uncle, Jerry Halfhill (Kay); his uncle, David Gamboa (Nancy); and his aunt, Barbara Schwalb (Rod). R.J. was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Jacquelyn Baker and aunt, Nancy Gamboa, whose memories remain close to our hearts.

R.J. had a zest for life and a feistiness that was unmatched. He was happy to spend days at home with Nicky and the boys, take the adventure to see Wrigley Field with his dad and brothers, play golf with his crew and spend an evening eating wings with his best friends. He loved the game of golf, playing softball, traveling to new places, testing his luck with a bit of gambling, and, above all, spending time with his family, friends, and dogs. Whether he was sharing a laugh, offering a helping hand, or simply enjoying the company of those he loved, R.J. made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

His legacy of loyalty, love, and laughter will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Service's for R.J. will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 starting with a graveside 9:00 AM, a memorial service at 10:00 AM with a reception to follow at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, CO 80121.
